I don’t think I’ve done anything I’ve set out to do in previous posts listing things I want or need to do.
Which is a shame, since the site’s traffic increases each month, and more people favorite/bookmark the site.
A nice chunk of the traffic is here for the Blue Mic Snowball firmware patches though. Many hits come from people searching for AngryBob. I hope they’re not looking for the comedian. I hear he sucks, and I have been granted permission to fuck his shit up.
Having said that. I’m going to try and start treating this site and my writing like a job. I’m going to make the (probably) lame attempt at setting hours to do these things, because I need to do them, and the fact that I let a job I hate interfere with that, is maddening.
So here’s to Ill-Literati.org 2009.

Well, I did get the coppermine integration working. I suppose it helped to upgrade the WordPress MU and get the latest version of the plugin. I also upgraded the coppermine. I don’t know which of these amazingly easy fixes was the one that worked.
Note to self: Upgrade your software often.
- I have to clean up the other plugins that won’t be used. And I guess I should automatically activate the coppermine on the other blogs now thatI know it works.
- I also have to adapt the theme to use some of the plugins I want to use and amn’t using.
- CONTENT! Not just the posts. There’s the podcast project which is slow to launch, I haven’t given up any new comics, and the story I was writing to post here is rotting in my head and on google docs.
- Harass the other ill-literati into posting more often than I normally do, then start posting more than they do.
- Add to this list.
Things accomplished? Yes.

I’m still here. Been posting about once a week on the angrybob blog.
Laptop is back. Makes things somewhat easier. In a couple of days, Gantor’s computer will be working on the first floor, so I can clean up the deep13 and start using it regularly again.
I have no cartoons for you because I suck.

The Dude posts and you should read.
I saw the Dude the other night. He said (after I asked him) that the site was looking very nice, but added that I never really seem to use it to post anything.
The Dude is right.
So not a lot of changes coming! I am going to NC for the next week, where I will spend some time working on the second story arc of Jedi Jesus and coming up with some Bad Napkin Arts. I will also be posting on random shit that week.
Upon my return, I think I will be too busy for my hack & slash of the site, so more posts there.
But before September, I will be wrapping up the stuff I want to do here for now.
Also: Expect the first ‘podcast’ thingy very soon.
Things are definitely looking better at ill-literati.org. The Forums are up and running, though all you’ll find at the moment are some instructions for the other ill-literati to modify their blog styles.
I’ve been using header images and made some changes in the way that we’re using the TTFTitles plugin for a cleaner look. Made a few changes here and there, including adding a forum tab to the navigation menu above.
I’m pleased with the way things have been going the past few nights with this.
I may even be able to post some personal content before the weekend is done.
